Here are some of my latest images. I think I've torn it down as far as I need to go. I used Crid Cutter on the chassis and now I'm just using Q-tips to work between the caps and coils. I still need to paint and install the power transformer and the transformer you see in the lower left. I've noticed a few extra holes in the chassis and one in the front panel. Since this is not an unmodified set I'm not going to worry about being precise with replacement parts. The power supply capacitor is I guess about sixty years old and a new one wold be pretty expensive even if I could find it so I am going to leave it on the chassis and install two new 40uf Mallory caps under the chassis.

I stripped all of the cans off and started to clean a little bit. You can see where the new power transformer will go on the left. See the tar from the transformer that burned out long before I got the radio. I've been keeping notes and even measured the slug heights in case I decide to remove the slug carridge. I also took close ups of the trimmers in case I move those.
